How we view our health.
Hi all,
I had a very interesting conversation with a professional today and how right she was!!
We are trying to break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage the public to view their mental wellbeing as important as their physical. How are we supposed to do this when even those in the medical profession do not view these things as equal.
A MASSIVE example of this is neurologist and psychologists. Think about how much further we could be in diagnosing conditions and helping people of these professionals worked together. They both study the brain and maybe out mental state has massive physical implications but this could only be realised if these professionals worked together!
Possibly the most well educated people surrounding the brain don't work together. They do not unite and show that they believe both there sectors are equally important, how are we supposed to?
Just some food for thought, please please please comment your views. It means the world when you do!
